The Invasion of the

" 4's "

artwork from the Oshkosh Area Schools 4-year old Kindergarten

Over 50 years ago, two young men with a love of pizza moved from Chicago to the Fox Valley. In May 1955, Pat Earle and Frank Pierri introduced their delicious, oven-fired, thin-crust pizza at Frank and Pat's Pizza Palace in downtown Appleton to a community that had barely heard of pizza. Of course, it didn't take long for the Fox Valley to fall for Frank and Pat's specialty, and the co-owners soon added Green Bay and Neenah locations.

Over five decades of serving pizza and other Italian specialties, a few minor changes have occurred. The Neenah location became known as Cranky Pat's Pizzeria, which is now run by Pat’s son David Earle. Pat's daughter-in-law Mary Sue Earle runs the Green Bay location, and Pat's grandsons, brothers Aaron and Jason Baer, own & operate Cranky Pat's in Oshkosh. While Frank and Pat’s Pizza Parlor now lies in the hands of a new generation of the Earle family, we maintain Pat's original vision – fresh ingredients, delicious food at a fair price, and a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
